Maryland Beaches - Bayfront & Oceanfront Beach Resorts

People visit the Chesapeake Bay beaches in Maryland all year round but most people visit during spring and the summertime for spring break, romantic weekend getaways, holidays, family vacations, business, extended stays, short breaks from work and other reasons.  Many people choose a beach in Maryland for the perfect wedding or honeymoon destination.

Attend an opera or listen to the Symphony orchestra. Stroll along the water's edge past the city's major attractions. See wildlife at the Maryland Zoo. Southern Maryland beaches

The town of Solomons, is a waterfront fishing village on the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. Stroll along the Riverwalk. Shop unique stores. Visit art galleries. Charter a boat to go deep sea fishing. Set sail from the marina. Enjoy seafood. See the Drum Point lighthouse. Tour the Calvert Marine Museum.

At Kings Landing Park on the Patuxent River, you can launch a kayak or canoe. Fish from the pier.

The Flag Ponds Nature Park is located along the Chesapeake Bay shoreline. Hike over 3 miles of trails. Explore wetlands and forested uplands on this 545 acre park. Hunt for sharks teeth along the shoreline.

On Long Beach, near St. Leonard, stay in a vacation rental that have spectacular views of the bay, private sandy beaches and fishing opportunities.
